It's absolutely luminous, Antonio! It really speaks.

Antonio, what can I say, other than that this is pretty much perfect. Apart from the excellent photographic rendition, the way you have the men standing and reflecting each others pose, it speaks whole volumes about the two individuals, showing their strong bond. It also shows us three time frames - the present, the past (for the older man) and the future (for the younger man). The only tiny niggle and it may well be an inappropriate/unimportant one, is that the sweat spot(?) on the tee shirt of the young man keeps drawing my eye. But yeah, as Katy says, it is luminous.

Very well done Antonio. They look almost identical except for the age. I think you would be hard pressed to find better subjects. Nice conversion.

Thank you all for the comments. It is in fact a sweat spot. They were working under the Sun outside. I asked them to move to the shadow inside a house which was being built at the time. I made perhaps 10 images and selected this one. The young man had just married a couple of days ago.

Antonio, I am really drawn to this photograph. Usually I prefer "nature" and that's what I shoot, but this is one of the few "people" photographs to ever really grab me. I can just feel the tired muscles of both men after working hard. Their faces show that they have many stories to tell. You captured them so well.

Great detail, and the monochrome really adds texture to those faces, you have controlled the exposure well as you could easily had burnt out detail in that shirt. I bet they would love a copy of this image.
