Jiro
Thats not a bad idea. It takes a bit of the punchiness out of it though. I need to do a bit of research to find out how google searches come up with hits they used to use meta data. I think Ask and Yahoo still do. There must be some way that google searches for criteria other than in the address or title. It is also worth remembering that our logo is not actually searchable as it is a jpeg image.

How about this: F-Stop Cafe A place for all things photographic. Any takers?

I knew about the others, but think about this..in two weeks, you've gone from 3 or 4 members to about 35-40...in two more weeks, at the rate we are making old and new contacts, how many do you think there will be. A forum isn't just about numbers, it is also about the quality of those numbers and how well those numbers can be served.
My fear is that we will grow too fast and end up like some of the other places, crumbling from within. Time, to grow is as important as growing, itself. Changing the title would be more beneficial than adding a sub banner.

I now think that 'Capture, Critique, Conversation' is the closest and most succinct suggestion so far that describes this forum. I'm inclined to agree with Seri. This is hard!! hmmmm! I can smell the coffee brewing, now! I almost bought that cappuccino maker, today - not joking!

Far be it from me to cause a divergence off topic ... But what the heck, the phrase 'I digress' is almost my middle name "if you build it they will come" Now there's another movie to add to our list, and actually it fits well here too, the wording will evolve in it's own time methinks & people will find us goooogle or no. This has also given me an idea for a challenge after curves... Movie titles I am in a Facebook photo club group and we recently had Booktitles which was fun, I did BFG by Roald Dahl.... Now where did I put in...hang on oh here he is ;D

F-Stop Cafe A place for all things photographic. Any takers? That's a good brainstorm, Willie! This morning (in my Benadryl induced funk - I've been sneezing nonstop, again ) I thought of something like....like.....dang, I can't remember, but, it had "visionmongers" in it or something like that. Anyone know Sense and Sensibility with Emma Thompson? The scene where Mrs. Jennings and Sir John Middleton are trying to guess the name of Elinor's lover that begins with F - anyone remember it? That just popped to mind, is all - they were good brainstormers. er, anyway....heh, heh...

Teehee, Kay! I think that we posted within moments of each other and I almost missed BFG! ;D That's so fun! and, those are wonderful words of calm, friendly wisdom! 'Tangential' is my middle name; so, I only think that it's fitting that I digress, too. When my oldest was young (4-6 yo) the library had a 'dress up as your favorite book character' party. It was so fun!!! Lliam went as Jimmy Zangwow: www.moonpie.com/shop/index.php/gift/jimmy-zangwow-s-out-of-this-world-s-adventure-book.htmlThat was so dang fun! Good theme!
