I love this kind of thread. Steve's Frosty Morning is a winner for me with Jan's splurge a very close second...although with some light bump mapping and some texturing...well the sky is the limit.

Sounds like Lucy is down in the dumps Mary. Give her a kiss from me...but not on the lips please

She's been hugged and kissed. She's not old... Just turned six...but will most likely be on these meds for the rest of her forever.

I like Steve's frosty morning, too. Especially since we don't get many frosty mornings here, at the beach.

I got up at 4:40 am CST, drove 115 miles to Tallahassee, Fl, picked up the kid from her dorm, went to breakfast then drove to a Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk, spent three hours there, went to lunch at the Red Elephant, dropped her back off at the dorm then drove another 143 miles to Gainesville, FL.

Spend a few hours with the folks, then went downtown with some friends, ate dinner at Emilianos (marginally good Cubano fare), walked about through an art fair then sat and listened to three really great Blues bands for three hours, then went back to the folks and watched the rest of the LSU/South Carolina football game. LSU edged out Carolina at the last minute by 2 points.

Then I went to sleep, only to awaken to Emilianos paying me a second visit, not nearly as pleasant as the first - even marginally so, then listened to a hard wired smoke detector beep all night long.....Arrrggghhhhhh

I think I got some decent shots on the Kelby Walk. Won't know until I upload on Monday when I get home.

Truthfully I have totally enjoyed everyone's posts both on and off topic. Steve's Frosty Morning is a real winner, though. Note to admin - what would you think of having a dedicated thread?
